In Case You Weren’t Listening
WE KILLED HEROIC PUTRICIDE! Yes, I know… months behind – but he’s dead – and that puts us up to 11/12 H 25 and in a four way tie for first on the server (based on progression). It was a pretty hairy finish honestly, we had 3 tanks + 2 others left alive at the end (a healer and a DPS I believe). Threedrakez was our third tank, Zelthas had 3 stacks, 3Ds Last Stand and Shield Wall were down – it was time to go for it. I taunted blew every cooldown I had left, healed myself as much as possible – then Putricide died. There was much squealing in Vent. It was the kind of kill that keeps you playing.

In Other News
Threedrakez also completed his Shadowmourne! That gives us three Shadowmournes. And as expected Three and Luk are doing pretty similar damage.

It’s quickly becoming a running joke within the guild that we give the legendaries to tanks, Three’s actually our DPS officer. He joined us just after the release of ICC as a server transfer, he’s also a decent tank when the need arises (ie Marrowgar, Lady Deathwhisper, Princes, Valithria, and Putricide). Initially he joined us as a tank, but the healers apparently just don’t like healing him. So, he was switched to DPS MS and Tank OS, which seems to be working well for the guy. Did I mention he started a trend on Bloodscalp? Troll Warriors, WTF! I’ve known only 1 Troll Warrior before Three, and it was a friends kid brother (at the time an 8 yr old), since Three came to Bloodscalp I see a new Troll Warrior everyday however…

As For Me?
Frostvein insisted on getting in the instance first, he was convinced in the theory of the seed… and he wanted his damned Frozen Bonespike, turns out it was the right move as Frosty finally got his dagger and is now no longer eating at the kiddie table…

Frosty’s ID had some added advantages, first I snagged another token giving me Sanctified Scourgelord Chestguard (4pc 277 T10) and a very special surprise on Valithria, Grinning Skull Greatboots. These boots have been traditionally as rare to us as the Bonespike, in fact there was generally a good mix of drops last night. By the way, last night also saw me achieving one of my long time goals…

That’s right, according to wow-heroes.com I hit #1 on Bloodscalp.

Fun Fact: I’m currently at 6812 Gearscore with 2 items that can be upgraded to 277 (there is no 277 Sigil), that means breaking 7000 Gearscore is impossible until Cataclysm is released.
