Coming Attractions…
Coming Soon!
I’ve got a lot of projects in various stages of completion, however there are some cool new things coming. I’ve got several Interface Compilations in the works, Entombed my personal raiding UI and the Goblins Toolbox. Both will be released with the new guides There Will Be Blood (The SRS Business Tanking Guide) and Way of the Goblin (The SRS Business Guide to Making Obscene Amounts of Gold). All of these additions will be provided completely free of charge, and are starting to look pretty slick if I do say so myself.
Also, I’m doing some restructuring on the blog. It should make accessing the new features, downloads, guides, etc much easier and most importantly it’ll be intuitive and streamlined.
This week however I have two posts coming up that I’m sure you guys won’t want to miss. For starters, I’ve got a lengthy bit of discussion about the upcoming talent changes in Cataclysm. And second a new Reader Request – I’ll be talking about the addon SlyProfits and how to use it to take a little of the load off your calculator and spreadsheets. So, those who do read this blog will have plenty to take in over the next few days.
The Bloodscalp Report
+ HORDE
As Anthony Perkins said in Psycho, “We all go a little mad sometimes…”
I spent a lot this week, hell why sugar coat it? The books look like a warm turd on a bad stretch of road right now. Where did it all go? Well 125,000g went to my new mount Reins of the Swift Spectral Tiger. 10K for Formula: Enchant Weapon – Spellpower (I expect to make my money back though). I also bought a few other things here and there, 50K went to a copy of WoTLK and BC Collector’s Editions for my Alliance account. Another chunk went to game cards. I also invested about 25K into my Alliance account, seed money to begin production on the other side. All told I spent frighteningly close to 300K this week. That leaves me with about 50K on the Horde Side. Which means obviously I’m further from my 500K goal, and even further from my 1 Million goal. But, I’m confident I’ll get there. It’s all just a matter of time – and time is money, friend…
+ ALLIANCE
I’m sitting on about 15,000g on the alliance side right now. I’ve bought some BOEs for my new Alliance main (My Druid) which should make Kauzmo and Saate happy to see. Right now my production on this side is almost nonexistent, I’m making some epic gems with my Shaman – but, I’ve got no Jewelcrafter on the Alliance side to cut it. So, it’s either look for a JC or sell it raw. Right now I’m selling raw just to get some cash flow going while developing other assets on this faction. My Death Knight and Druid are bout 61 now, with the Shaman being my only 80 on the alliance side. I’m going to be farming materials as I level these guys, and I brought along a full set of heirloom gear for the journey. My major goals for this week are to establish an Alliance guild and bank, hit 70 with my Druid – get his Jewelcrafting and Enchanting ready for Northrend.
Markets remain stable, prices have gone up drastically as expected and supply on both sides is pretty low at the moment. Deals can be found, you just have to be lucky and vigilant.
That’s all for this week, thanks for reading…
Khaas the Insane

Thank you!!
I reckon that spectral tiger was a BARGAIN! they’re like 500-600 + USD to grab those TCG cards D:
Do you mean you’re using golds to buy game cards + WoW cd-keys? that’s sickk (but also against the eula lol)
I’d love to save $ tho > <
@sbao – Yeah, I think the tiger was a deal. I know others who’ve paid more for it certainly. And there’s no way I was going to hand out hundreds of dollars for one.
As for the game cards, yeah I bought some with gold. A friend had several so I grabbed them. I don’t see it being an issue though, it’s pretty much like paying gold for anything else (tcg codes or even cards, expansion disks, etc).
Probably not going to make a habit of it though, just one of those opportunities that I didn’t want to pass up.
Think you got hosed on that SP enchant.
Changes from Sp to INT make it irrelevant in a few short months.
@Frosty – Normally I’d agree with you. However the 4.5K I’ve made selling SP scrolls this week begs to differ. Remember always the Wizard’s First Rule – People are Stupid.
I DO however believe the enchant will still be worth it after Cata, there will be a lot of people levelling and Blizzard will make this and the healing enchant still effective. For Heirlooms there just isn’t anything better and even if it’s converted to it’s equivalent Int, that should still be better than the old Int enchant from Vanilla. (I would think anyway).
Either way though, I’m gonna get my money back well before Cataclysm is an issue.
