It’s a Very Dangerous Thing

The Flaming Lips are a very special band for me, a chance encounter with lead singer Wayne Coyne at a Seven Eleven years ago lead me to buy Transmission from the Satellite Heart. I’ve been hooked ever since, it’s hard to pin down what kind of a band they are. Their sound is definitely “out there” but whether it’s the sublime earphone extravaganza of the Soft Bulletin or more recent albums like At War With the Mystics (where this weeks song comes from). They’re always a treat for the senses. If you like this, I’d also recommend checking out their latest album Embryonic…

Face on Fire is still making steady progress, as mentioned in my previous post (Riding a Boner) we’re working on H Lich King now, the fight has several challenges to overcome. And it’s proven a need for more heals, definitely. So we’re looking for pro heals right now to finish out our lineup.

Updated Info:
We’re 11/12 H ICC 25 Man, working on Lich King hard modes with other hard modes on farm. We also have Glory of the Icecrown Raider (10 Player), and what’s left after that? More loot farming and working on the 25 ICC meta.

We’re also working on some older content on our off days, farming old gear for shits and gigs.

Currently Recruiting:
» Druid – Restoration
» Priest – Discipline (Holy offspec a plus)

* If your class isn’t listed you’re still welcome to apply, we are always accepting applications from exceptional players.

The Bloodscalp Report
+ HORDE
My stockpiling is going well, and I’m trying to stay pretty tight lipped on the subject. But, I believe I’ll be banking some serious gold the day Cataclysm launches. That said, I’m still pulling down 20K+ per week. My current strategy is to take the 20K and bank it, with the remainder going toward investments and frivolity. For instance, I bought from Neutral to Exalted reputation with the Scryers this week, and am now working my way toward Exalted with the Aldor (there’s an achievement for getting both). And there’s a few other odds and ends I’m putting together like Elementium Bars for my Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Wind Seeker. At any rate, I’m now 2 weeks from hitting the cap (again). I spent the first cap pretty quickly getting items like the Spectral Tiger, but there’s not as much left for me to buy now. I even managed to get my ICC drake for free with guildies, so unless I go spend crazy on alts (not likely, unless it’s professions). Then my liquid assets should continue to rise into the expansion.

Later this week I’ll be posting a log of my daily activity, a friend gave me the idea (thanks Alex), anyway the idea is I want to show people what I do on a typical day to make gold. If anything, it should be an interesting exercise and it should give people a rough idea of the routine necessary to generate some gold themselves.

+ ALLIANCE
I’ve been watching the alliance side for a while, and talking to friends on that end. I’ve reached a conclusion, the Alliance is as dead as disco. Therefore I’m moving my alliance assets back to the Horde. Which means I’ll be running 27 alchemists in Cataclysm. That’s right, three of each class (one of each spec). I’ll be detailing more on this at a later date, but you should get at least a rough idea now.

That’s all for this week, thanks for reading…

27 85s for Cata. You’re a beast. Wish I was that fast. Are you ever going to unveil your Cata launch plans? Curious as to your golds making schemes.

I’ll have 30 85s in Cata, but only 27 will be Alchemists. 3 will be “played” characters with min/max professions. Death Knight, Druid, Shaman. Later I may add a Mage and Priest to the team for instance farming (again) but I kinda doubt it. My 3 box team should be more than sufficient to the task.
